HD55 (Filter Side) Freezing up

Back to List

My one year old HD55 unit is still freezing up now,  and it doesn't drip out as much. I cleaned the unit yesterday, replaced the filter, which was frozen on to the coil,l I had to wait several hours. Is there a  part I can replace myself? It's showing 60%. I live in S. Carolina and the basement temp is 65 F.

We apologize for the inconvenience you have experienced with the freezing issue of your HD55 dehumidifier. We understand that this problem can be frustrating, and we appreciate your patience as we work to resolve it.

To better assist you, we need to know the production date of your dehumidifier, which is located on the nameplate. Once again, we apologize for any inconvenience this issue may have caused. Thank you for choosing Alorair, and we look forward to resolving this matter as quickly as possible.
