Sentinel Pro 55X Flashing lighting bolt.

Hello.  

 

Hello, 

what does it mean when yoiu turn on the unit and the lighting bolt symbol is flashing.  if unplug the unit and plug it back in it turns on with no problem. but if i leave it plug in and off for a set period of time the lighting bolt symbol will be flashing. I did not see any information on them in the manual .

The flashing "lightning bolt" symbol on your Sentinel Pro 55X unit typically indicates that the device is currently in standby mode, or is waiting for the humidity level to rise above the set point before initiating the dehumidification function.

We recommend that you try adjusting the humidity set point to "CO" (i.e., "Continuous Operation Mode").

In CO mode, the dehumidifier will run continuously, regardless of the current humidity level; performing this step will help us determine whether the issue stems from a faulty humidity sensor or is simply part of the device's normal operational cycle.
