It is working for meI have had the unit operational now 5 days and it is was fine.The first day it lowered the humidity in my basement which is over 2000 square feet with 350 sq ft of exposed dirt,by 20%,from 69% to 48%.I have a very high water level under the house,which does not help.I am very satisfied with my purchase.

I have a very old house and no matter what I do.I always have moister in my basement.I bought this to try to dry it out a bit and I was really impressed how well it did.When I first plugged it in there was water on the floor and the humidity level was reading 68.After just a few days,it was down to to 35 and the puddles were decreasing in size.It runs very quiet and built well.The set up was easy and it works like a dream.

The biggest thing that really made me jump at this was the great integrated pump.It is a bit squat for the weight but I cannot complain with the strength of its dehumidifying effect.Once it is set up,it very rapidly noticeably brings down the humidity level,and you don not have to pay it much attention with the inbuilt pump.Easy to use,easy to clean,and as a little side the color helps hide any dirt built up.Really great all around dehumidifier.
