Remote control of APP and the device can be done via Wi-Fi. But before that you need to know some tricks for pairing:
1) Before you connect, you need to be close enough so that the signal won't break on the wall or insulation of the house
2) Buy an extra Wi-Fi mesh or repeater to increase the signal strength to make the pairing of the devices more successful
3) The app currently supports only 2.4 GHz network. Please turn off the 5 GHz network on the router to make the connection work more smoothly.

· Before using it, keep it steady in an upright position for about 30 minutes to allow the refrigerant and other internal components to settle
· If the unit is newly delivered, let it settle for about 12 hours before using it
· Make sure that your desired area is well-sealed by either shutting all windows, vents or using other barriers
· It must be connected to a grounded electric source to avoid accidents and damage
· Make sure you have the right power supply to avoid electrical issues
· It is not suggestible to use an extension cord as well as a power adaptor

I live in Florida, where the daily humidity will creep into every space and feel like you are swimming in a soup bowl for two-thirds of the year. I needed to lower the moisture in my basement to feel better and protect my home from moisture damage. To do so, I needed to run this unit around the clock for around three weeks, and this thing never missed a beat. No issues with the unit appearing stressed or slowing down. There is a damp in our basement, but there is no longer a problem with this dehumidifier. The dehumidifier works very well, and it looks adorable as well. More to the point, it's robust and compact, even though it is not too invisible. It's not lightweight but of outstanding quality, and it has a handle and wheels that you put anywhere you want, very flexible. I like that the dehumidifier is very easy to install, plug and play, and easy to operate. Amazing!

I had never heard of Alorair before purchasing this unit. After wearing out about four brand-name household dehumidifiers, I was on a quest for the largest capacity unit I could find without breaking the bank. This unit rocks! I love it! It pulls the humidity levels down with ease for my basement. Frankly, it does not even seem to work hard doing so. The unit is super quiet. If you are looking for a high capacity, high-quality dehumidifier at a reasonable price and are tired of the cheap ones sold at the big box stores, I highly recommend this Alorair!

This dehumidifier is really amazing because it is beneficial in my restaurant during this time. It helps clean dust, especially when it rains a lot. It helps take out moisture in the air. It also prevents odors we don't want. Also, it's real energy saving for me. My bill doesn't go up a lot. Better than my last one from another brand. And I think it's a pretty reasonable price for this size and quality. I run almost 24 hours every day, and it works great and doesn't have any issue after three weeks of use. It's great for me. Overall this is a really good product, and I highly recommend it.

We were experiencing a musty smell in the attic. We called an HVAC technician to fix it, but the issue will return when the attic gets wet. After searching online for a permanent solution was suggested that a humidifier be placed and run periodically over time to avoid moisture buildup.
I have mounted this in my attic and had to work around bringing the drain pipe down to my bath. Using this for a couple of months and have no odor issues now.
