HD55 - Code CO

Back to List

Whenever I start my HD55 dehumidifier, it powers on but it makes a clicking noise and displays code "CO". Does anyone know what this means?

Dear L B
Thank you for your question.
If the display shows "CO", it means the unit is in continuous mode. This happens when the humidity setpoint is lowered below 36% using the down arrow. In this mode, the dehumidifier runs constantly regardless of the actual humidity level, and the green "Cont." light will turn on. The higher continuous operation may also make the unit sound louder than usual.

To exit continuous mode, simply raise the humidity setpoint above 36% using the up arrow. The unit will then return to normal humidistat operation and stop running when the desired humidity level is reached. If you need to stop the machine immediately, you can also turn it off directly.

If the dehumidifier is making loud noise, first check if it's placed on flat ground. If not, move it to a firm surface. Also, make sure the filter mesh isn't blocked — clean it if needed.

Thank you very much for reporting this issue to us; we are fully committed to assisting you.
