Alor-Air R Lite App - not working - ? Since April

I tried to connect to the Storm LGR Extreme as usual, but when trying to send a PURGE COMMAND - it says "send failed"

 

This was working in the past, and there have been no network changes. I turned the unit on off, by unplugging. As well are restart the app, but both made no difference.

Is this something that will be fixed with the new update I am reading about.
