Waiting period after shipping dehumidifier before operating?

New HD35P dehumidifier shipped to me via UPS.  Is there a waiting period the unit should be left sitting in its normal upright operating position before plugging it in and operating?  I've read that it's common to let a dehumidifier sit for 24 hours before opearting so that refigerant oil seeps back to the normal area in the system.  UPS did not observe keeping the unit upright during shipping as it was on its side coming out of the truck and was placed that way at my front door as well.  Also, is there any merit to running the unit continiously for the first 24 hours to allow the compressor to break-in properly?

Hi Thomas,

It can be used after 30 minutes of normal storage, and the compressor has high processing precision without run-in time.
