HD55 Running But No Drainage

Back to List

I recently installed the ALORAIR HD55 in my crawlspace, and for 24hrs it worked great. I set it to continuos mode per the directions (below 35) to get the humidity levels lowered, as the current humidity level was at 87. Also, I attached a duct to direct the exhaust outside the crawlspace. Everything was running great! Water was running out the drain, humodity levels were going down. After 24hrs, there is no water discharging from the drain pipe. I powered off the dehumidifier and started it back up. It runs, but no water is draining out the pipe, and the humidity levels are no longer decreasing. What is wrong? I have reread the manual several times, but I see no issue on my end. Did the compressor die on me? I have only ran it 24hrs.

Attached are photos of current setup.

Also, the dehumidified is blowing warm air. At first when I turned it on the air was cool.

Hi Timothy, acording to your description, this may be caused by a compressor failure; it is recommended that you contact our customer service team for after-sales processing, and they will handle it for you.
