E4 Error on Galaxy 60P/85P

Back to List

I am getting an E4 error code on my unit, preventing it from operating correctly. I have a video for an example of this behavior, but cannot upload it. Here is what I've done to troubleshoot:

1. Removed and check the hose for obstructions - ok

2. Ran a drain cycle with the hose detached. A little water comes out, but not much. In the video I have, you can also hear the "sputter" sound of the water or pump, this sound is also made when I detached the hose and ran a drain cycle.

3. Unplugged the unit for 2 minutes

I've found some instructional videos to check and clean the internal pump on OTHER models, but not this particular mode (Galaxy 60P/85P). I am not very mechanical, so I don't want to disassemble the unit without clear instruction.

I am not sure what to do at this point, the unit is only about 2 years old. Can anyone offer any suggestions or point me in the right direction? Thank you in advance.

Dear Troy,

Thank you for sharing the details about the E4 error and the troubleshooting steps you have already tried.

Based on the symptoms you described, the issue may be related to the drain pump. We recommend replacing the pump and testing the unit again to see if the issue is resolved.

We hope this helps and appreciate you sharing your experience with us.

Best regards,
