Does wifi work?

I'm considering purchasing the HDi65s since it has wifi. But i keep seeing how bad the app is. On Amazon, this model is listed as a "frequently returned item". Has the app been fixed, or is it still an issue? Also, if there is a power failure, will this turn back on when the power is restored?

I, too, am having issues with my HDi65S dehumidifier app. It used to work perfectly but now I can't get any status from the unit nor can I control it anymore. I purchased my unit in September 2024 and am using the AlorAir-C with an iPhone 14 Pro. I'm as frustrated as others on this site about the app not working. It is why I bought this model dehumidifier as it is in my crawlspace and I need to check on it remotely. Hopefully AlorAir Support can assist here.
