Application
Airborne vapors and excess moisture not only promote mold and pests but can also attack and damage walls and furniture. Ventilation fans let fresh air in by extracting air from basements and crawlspaces. The built-in dehumidifier helps remove humidity from the environment. With the VentirPro 540S exhaust fan, with its 8.7-inch, 5-blade design, steam is quickly expelled outside and its operation at only 55 decibels won't bother you. This makes it ideal for home use. With its powerful features and low power consumption, this fan is guaranteed to keep you quiet and comfortable.

Improved Air Circulation - The 540CFM axial fan reduces the risk of mold and vapor buildup by improving airflow and eliminating stagnant air. It circulates indoor air and brings in fresh air from outside. This improves air quality and allows you to breathe easier.

Reduce Indoor Humidity: Ventilation fans are also very effective at reducing indoor humidity, especially when installed in bathrooms and crawl spaces. Stagnant and humid air is exhausted by dehumidifiers to prevent moisture buildup and create a healthy, comfortable indoor environment.

Cost Savings: ventilation fans are much cheaper than any dehumidifier or air conditioner, but they're sufficient for normal dehumidification of crawl spaces and basements. And the memory function of our sensors automatically turns off when the humidity reaches the set level, so you save on electricity costs.

Proper Use and Maintenance
INSTALLATION MATTERS: Crawlspace fans must be installed in electrical control boxes and motors facing inside the crawlspace.
1. Confirm that the doors and vent covers of the buildings around the installation are open.

2. In order to ensure the stable installation of the crawling space ventilator, it is necessary to mark four points on the wall to confirm the installation position.

3. Install the crawl space ventilation fan to the wall with 4 screws and observe the horizontal direction of the fan.

4. Note: If the mounting surface is a base block or brick. Before the fan is installed, a 5/16-inch hole needs to be drilled with a masonry drill bit. Install wall anchors at the openings and secure them.

If installed on a mesh of wood aggregate, edge joists, or existing crawlspace vents, secure crawl space vents with screws, washers, and nuts at the four corners of the metal panel of the vent.

High quality, easy to enstall and quite. Used two to pull negative pressure in crawlspace. Removes musty smell with a little work on what is causing it in the first place. The bearings are so smove I think these will run for years. I checked power consumption, 64watts and .8 amps. Moter proficiency is only 67 present, l am not sure what that plays in the grand skeam or things. I have dehumidifiers that rate 99 pesent. My take is a good product. However, now that l checked ele. I am going to look up about the proficiency. J Clark home owner

It is very good but a bit noise
Pulling a ton of heat out of my attic. Significant noticeable difference in the house and A/C usage.

BOTTOM LINE: 1. I recommend this Alorair vent fan. 2. The current price of ~$72 is reasonable. LIKES: - This fan pushes a lot of air. - The fan will stop automatically at 35F. Since I have high humidity regardless, I set the dial to be always ON. It will shut off when it gets cold. When winter hits, I will probably go into the attic and adjust it. - My house air conditioning unit simply cannot keep up during this latest record breaking heat wave. I decided to give this a shot. I am so glad I did. I put it on the highest vent in the attic. My location was not really ideal because there was no clear ventilation air flow. However, it has worked beautifully. So much better than what we endured last year. - I suspect my electric bill will go down. This 540CFM fan only pulls 45 watts. The cost to run this is fan is far less than the cost to run the A/C. Since this fan is causing my A/C to run less, its a win for me. I will know how much next month when the electric bill shows up. DISLIKES: - Mounting plate is thin so it is sharp! Very easy to cut myself with it, so I wore gloves when mounting it.

Great industrial strength fan to rid a crawl space area of humidity. It is either on or off then you set the humidity level you want and it will go on automatically when needed. It is really loud and strong and a great performer. Feel safe leaving it plugged in.

I have a crawl space that has high humidity and so far I have put in a dehumidifier and installed this fan. This has overnight lowered my humidity levels in the crawl space by 5%. The controls are very easy to use and this was easy to install as well.
Got it installed, but it is hard to tell if it works when the current humidity is low.

So my husband got this installed and was wondering if it actually works. It is set to come on at certain humidity levels, and our humidity is low at the moment. Will have to figure out a way to test it, and update my review then.
Usable, it works, be okay in an attic or room far far away

It is a little noisy in my opinion, however the fan works great as far moving air The temperature switch works, but the numbers do not seem to line up to the actual temperature in my experience It looks nice, If you have a building with good sound control and want to put it in an attic, it would be good for something like that.

Perfect for what I needed

I am using this to vent a shop that gets really humid and musty in the summer. This is making a huge difference over the small desktop fan I had rigged up. This is a serious fan and moves some serious air. I wish the mesh was smaller to prevent even smaller bugs from entering, but that should be easy enough to add over the existing grate.
