Benefits Freshen indoor air - If you're tired of smelly basements, you should install a ventilation fan. Ventilation fans help you keep the air inside your home fresh by removing airborne contaminants such as ammonia and other odor-causing chemicals to eliminate odors.
Prevents mold contamination - Mold and viruses can easily thrive in dark spaces. AlorAir crawl space ventilation fans keep your basement cool and dry with 260 CFM airflow. Especially if your basement has no windows, it can renew the air inside.
Helps bathroom cleaning - It is difficult to clean a bathroom thoroughly if there are always contaminants in the air. Installing a ventilation fan helps keep the bathroom clean and dust-free because it helps suck up dust and dirt from countertops and floors.
Cost Saving - Our high-power ventilation fans are compact and portable, and can increase air circulation in any room. This means you can install it in any space you need to dehumidify at the moment, and our panels can be trimmed to match non-standard foundation openings.
Application When there is an air inlet in the crawl space and an air outlet in the attic, air will enter through the crawl space, preheat, then rise through the house and exit through the attic. This process will continue to repeat as long as you have air inlets in your crawl space. Crawl space vents usually cause a lot of moisture to accumulate, they also tend to cause a lot of mold and mildew, and pests leave their droppings throughout the crawl space. Essentially, crawl spaces will bring anything that can be airborne (sometimes including feces and mold spores) into your living space.
AlorAir Underground Ventilation System will easily solve your problem with its knob control and easy operation. It supports a 5-80%RH control range and can work in 35-158°F temperatures. The fan is equipped with a powerful motor that can move up to 2400-3600 CU.FT. It is also energy efficient and quiet with a noise level of less than 40 dBA.
Improve air circulation: Stagnant air causes mold, steam, and heat... and accelerates paint and wall peeling. VentirPro 260 three-blade, high-speed fan powerfully eliminates poor-quality air sources, recirculates your indoor air, and brings in fresh, oxygen-rich air from outside.
Reduce housing pollution: Attics or basements often accumulate debris and gather a lot of dust and debris, which not only pollutes the house but also causes respiratory diseases. Ventilation fan's uninterrupted work can greatly enhance ventilation and dryness, keeping your home clean and cool.
Reduce indoor humidity: When installed in bathrooms and crawl spaces, ventilation fans serve to draw out stagnant, humid air, a process that helps prevent moisture buildup and reduces indoor humidity levels with the help of dehumidifiers, improving comfort.
Proper Use and Maintenance INSTALLATION MATTERS: Crawlspace fans must be installed in electrical control boxes and motors facing inside the crawlspace.
1. Confirm that the doors and vent covers of the buildings around the installation are open.
2. In order to ensure the stable installation of the crawling space ventilator, it is necessary to mark four points on the wall to confirm the installation position.
3. Install the crawl space ventilation fan to the wall with 4 screws and observe the horizontal direction of the fan.
4. Note: If the mounting surface is a base block or brick. Before the fan is installed, a 5/16-inch hole needs to be drilled with a masonry drill bit. Install wall anchors at the openings and secure them.
If installed on a mesh of wood aggregate, edge joists, or existing crawlspace vents, secure crawl space vents with screws, washers, and nuts at the four corners of the metal panel of the vent.
I installed this fan in a storage shed to keep the humidity down. It works well.

I got this to use as my dust collector for my garage. I am building a box around it with a filtration system and will mount in the rafters in the middle of the garage. I have plugged it in to test the CFM and noise levels and I think this should work out just fine. It has 260 CFM (bathroom fans have between 50 and 80) with a noise level low enough where I can hear my radio and have natural level conversations. I also have my home gym in the garage, so I might pipe it out to the outside and use on warmer days. It does have a dial to set for humidity, but I will not be using that though it would work great for a humid basement. It just has the one speed, and the on/off switch is on the unit itself which will be hard to access since it will be in the rafters. I will probably connect it to a smart switch and operate it that way. The unit itself is well-built and ETL listed.

Ever hear the one about the young adults trying to cook bacon in a cast iron skillet on an electric stove for the ninedy-eleventh time?
Yeah, in lieu of the county fire department, this fan can clear the kitchen and living room of smoke pretty well. thank gawd, LOL.
The fan is designed for permanent installation, but I have it tucked in a window we do not use for the summer. We do not have A/C and it can get ugly hot. Once it starts to cool outside, I turn this fan on to suck the heat out. I really want the bigger one to put in the garage. That is where I work and in the summer, it is uninhabitable.
The only drawback I can find is the operating volume. It is pretty loud. But if I have to choose loud or death by swelter, I will take the noise! ;)

I have installed this stainless steel fan in a basement window to improve air circulation and reduce dampness. I particularly like that the fan casing incorporates a humidistat so that when the basement dries out, the fan will turn itself off.
The fan is noisy, which I might mind if it were in the living room, but as it is intended for a crawl space or basement, it can roar away all it wants if it does its job. While I have not had long-term experience with it, the fan appears to be top quality, both solid and compact. It is not cheap; a box fan would have been much less. But my experience with box fans is that they do not last long, so I am glad to pay the extra for something that will be durable and will not rust in a damp environment.
Very useful since you can plug it in.

Well packaged, smaller than expected but moves a lot of air.

I installed mine in the garage to move hot air into the attic for when it gets roasty this summer. The unit was well packaged so the surface finish was very nice. The fan was smaller than I was imagining but it moves a decent amount of air. I was pleasantly surprised by the generous length of cord as it actually reached an outlet in my ceiling for the garage door opener.

Solid, well made vent fan:
The stainless steel construction makes this fan feel very sturdy and perfectly suited for a crawlspace or similar. You can tell just by holding it the product is well put together. And while the fan only has one power setting, it is more than powerful enough to fulfill my needs.
Automated but test for accuracy:
This vent fan is very cool because it can automatically turn on when the humidity levels reach a certain point, saving you energy while keeping your crawlspace well ventilated. I will note however that I noticed a small difference between the set levels of the fan and a different humidity sensor I own, suggesting is was a couple percentage points off from being accurate. That being said, just play around with the settings and you will be able to set it to a useful auto on point in no time.
Overall, this is a very useful product for venting crawlspaces and I would recommend.

I got this fan for an attic space and was surprised at how well made this fan is made, very solid construction and it worked well on my test run. I do tend to have a problem with humidity and wanted something to not only keep the air circulating but also keep the attic space a little cooler especially during the summer time. I liked that you could set it the humidity setting of your choice and just how easy it is to set up, no wiring is needed as all you need is a grounded plug and your all set to go. The metal flashing is big enough to cover a hole much larger than the size of the fan and has a range so you can adjust where you can put the screws to secure it. This fan does not get easier to install if you want to do it yourself, just set it and let it circulate the air.

We have an unfinished basement that continually has a humidity problem. It is not a major problem but an issue none the less that needs to be addressed. We were told by a professional that a small exhaust fan would do the trick for this size of an area so after searching we chose the Alorair model VentirPro 260S.
This stainless steel durably built unit looked like a good choice for us to remove some, if not all, of that humidity. With a nice RH humidity knob selector it allows you to address your humidity problems directly and specifically. It has a rust proof, heavy duty plastic fan that is not made cheaply. The protection grate on the exhaust side is very small so as to keep rodents and most other pests out. The inner fan guard is a heavy duty wire which protects anyone from touching it and harming themselves. It has a 6 foot grounded cord that is heavy duty. It has an operational range of 35 degrees F to 158 degrees F and a humidity range of 5-80% and an operational decibel level of less than 40 which is quiet.
For our application the mounting was extremely simple. We took the supplied mounting screws and placed the fan up against our existing outside vent and plugged it in to a 120 volt respectable that was close at hand. We set the unit at 40% and the unit came on at full speed. We checked on the unit later on in the day and the fan speed slowed down indicating that it was removing the moisture to match the setting on the RH adjustment knob. So, it seemed to be simply doing it is job.
So far, after about 2 weeks it is noticeable once entering the basement that the humidity has been reduced dramatically. We are very pleased with the performance and we recommend this to anyone with the same situation as ours.
Helps to manage the humidity in thr crawl space

Our crawl space is always moist and smells like something could start growing if we did not do anything. Luckily we found this fan to help manage our damp situation. Near to the vent hole on the house there is a power-plug on this house which I can plug in directly; however some people might not have a plug nearby, so you will have to see about running an extension cord from a Gfci outlet or getting an electrician to hook you up with a plug nearby.
We are happy about the vent fan, but really it is just set-and-forget, it just does it is thing and seems to be drying the basement well.
