The MERV-8 filter captures most of the "larger" dust after the air blows into the machine. This allows the airflow to be powerful with less wind resistance and larger contaminants are directed away. It can protect blowers, coils, fans and other internal components from contamination by air drawn in from outside. At the same time, it ensures maximum airflow supply.
