Hello, HILTON. we have received your feedback.

After communicating with our engineers, we suggest that you place an external thermometer/hygrometer at the position of the RH/Temperature sensor of the machine for a comparative test in the same environment. It is normal if the error between the external thermometer/hygrometer and the RH/Temperature sensor of the machine is within ±3. Please refer to the attached drawing for specific operations.

If it shows that the sensor is indeed faulty, you can click here to purchase a new sensor (the price is $39): https://thedryair.com/products/rh-temperature-sensor-for-basement-dehumidifier-hd55-hd90-and-hdi90
