HD35P E4 error code.

Back to List

I have only had this unit for 7 months and this E4 error code can't be solved.  I checked the drain line and it is in good shape.  The pump comes on when you push the button but only works a little then stops.  Machine runs for a little while then changes to E4.  Is their any instructions/directions on how to check the float, pumo, clogging inside?  I haven't seen anything on this.  Any help is appreciated.

Hi Donny,
We are very sorry for the unpleasant experience of using your unit. Based on your description, it sounds like there might be an issue with the pump.
Our Sentinel HD35P user manual has information on page 10 about the E4 error code and possible solutions. Additionally, pages 11-13 cover how to check and perform basic maintenance on the pump.
If after inspection you find that the pump is indeed faulty, please reach out to our customer service team for assistance.

Thanks for the help.  I took the panel off and took out the pump to find it covered in a slimy sludge.  Water was not able to get through that to the actual pump hose.  I took the filter out and cleaned it up with Dawn dish soap and a cup of warm water and old toothbrush. Then replaced it back and plugged back in.  Working fine now.  Will keep an eye on that going forward.  Thanks again!
