Dehumidifier running, no water draining, humidity level staying the same

Sentinel HD55 is located in the attic.  Attic has closed cell spray form insulation and is approximately 75 degrees.  Dehumidifier return is connected to the HVAC return.  Dehumidifier supply is connected to the HVAC supply.  Dehumidifier compressor is running. There is no frost.  There is no water coming out of the drain at all.  Bone dry. Dehumidifier is set to 50.  Hudity level in the house is 61 and holds steady.  Dehumidifier is continually running.  What's wrong?
