AlorAir Storm LGR Extreme no wifi icon

Storm LGR Extreme manufacture date 2023-11-17 downloaded 2023 WiFi Lite App for small screen from google play.

2.4mhz wifi connection on phone and bluetooth enabled on phone.

Numerous attempts to reset device using "purge" and "menu" buttons at same time but no "WiFi" icon will appear on the screen.

Any help appreciated.

Hey there! I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble with your Storm LGR Extreme. Here's what our engineers' suggest: try giving the device a little break by unplugging it from the power source. Give it a few seconds, and then plug it back in. When you go to reset it, make sure to gently press the "purge" and "menu" buttons. Sometimes these buttons can be a bit finicky, so a light touch should do the trick. Give it a shot and see if the "WiFi" icon shows up on the screen.

A itp in case it helps Carl and others: I noticed the display response is very slow on my Storm LGR Extreme that the blinking wifi icon is very difficult to see, but it is there.  Compared to the non-blinking text on the display, the wifi icon is almost invisible unless you know what you're looking for.  (I need to look from just the right angle and then I can barely make it out).  In blinking, it is as if the wifi icon is on for 5% of the time and off for 95% of the time (instead of 50%/50%), so it is nowwhere need as bright as other text on the display. 

AlorAir: perhaps consider slowing down how fast the wifi icon blinks on and off so the display has time to catch up. I notice even cycling through options on the menu there is a slow transition on the display rather than a quick change.
